Price of Goods: All prices are quoted inclusive of Australian 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). When you go through checkout, your invoice will show the amount of GST included in your purchase. This amount is not added to your total. A tax invoice will be provided when your order is mailed.
Payment options: We accept the following payment methods
- Paypal
- Visa & Mastercard (either on or offline)
- Bank Cheque (order only processed after cheque clearance).
- Money order.
- Direct deposit
Payment (or layby deposit payment) must be made within 10 days of purchase or goods will be returned to stock. If there is a problem then please contact so we can discuss options.
Out of Stock policy: We are constantly updating our stock and while every attempt is made to ensure all advertised items are in stock. Occasionally, we do have a stock count error. We may not be able to supply the item purchased. If this occurs then we will either:
- A full refund on the item not available.
- A credit for the item not available, which can be used immediately or at a later date for other items in our store.
- Placing your purchase on backorder and waiting for new stock to arrive.
We will contact you should this situation arise to make your preferred arrangements
Delivery Terms and Post & Handling (P&H) charges: Upon receipt of the order and verification of payment, goods will be dispatched by Australia Post (within Australia) within three working days. International orders will be dispatched by customer’s preferred method of delivery.
Delivery and P&H charges for all purchases are as follows:
Orders within Australia: If you live in the area then store pick-up is available. There is no shipping charge. If you wish to pick up your order then please contact us to arrange a suitable time. After hours pick-up is available.
Postage is charged according to the weight of the items purchased. Each product has an individual postage charge, but this is combined when multiple items are purchased, providing significant savings. Postage will be automatically calculated for you in your shopping basket. Base postage prices are as follows:
Postage is FREE for all orders over $45.00 within Australia). The free postage should be automatically reflected on your invoice on checkout - please contact us if this does not occur.
A standard shipping rate will apply to orders under $45.00. The standard shipping rate is currently $5.40. This excludes international customers and large items such as cutters and albums.
Overseas Orders: Please contact for shipping quotes.
Express Post: is available on request. Please contact us if you wish to have your item delivered by Express Post and we will advise the cost.
Registered Post: Registers post is an additional $2.60. If you wish to have your items delivered by Registered Post, please select this from the postage options. We do recommend insurance for any orders over $50, as Australia Post will not cover loss or damage above this amount for uninsured items.
We take all care in packaging your order to ensure that you will receive it safely, however Scrap Of Your Life cannot be held responsible for orders that are lost or damaged during transit.

Minimum order amount:There is no minimum order amount.
True to colour: Customers should be aware that the colour of images of papers and other products displayed on this site and viewed on your computer may not be exactly the same as for the actual product. We endeavour to display images in as true to actual colour as is possible but even then the image you see displayed on your screen may be different. If you are unsatisfied with the product you receive, see our refund policy for the steps you should take to have this matter rectified.
Layby: Layby option is available.
Amount of Layby: There is no restriction (either minimum or maximum) on the amount of any layby.
Payment options: Layby payments are preferred by way of direct deposit to our bank account, which will be provided on your invoice when you place the order. If you prefer to have your credit card direct debited on a monthly basis, please contact us on (02) 47 741784 or email us as scrapofyourlife@optusnet.com.au to arrange this option.
Initial Deposit : In order for us to hold your layby, there is an initial deposit of 10% of the value of the layby. This should be paid within 7 days or the layby will be cancelled and items returned to stock.
Length of Layby and Payment Requirements: Layby’s will be held for a total period of 3 months, however we will consider other arrangements, just contact us. You should make payments towards your layby at least once a mnth. Payment amounts are up to the customer, but you should continue to use your Order reference as your bank reference each time you make a payment. Customers can choose to pay as frequently as they like.
If, for any reason, you are unable to finish paying your layby within the 3 month period, please contact us and we can discuss a further payment plan for you if it is suitable.
Cancellation or Non-payment of Layby: If at any time you cancel your layby or do not pay within the time frame and don’t contact us, you will be entitled to receive a refund for all monies paid less a $20 or 10% fee (whichever is the lesser) for return to stock.
Refund Policy:
At Scrap of Your Life we will take every possible care to ensure that the supplied goods are true to your order, are in perfect condition when dispatched and are securely packaged.
However, errors do happen occasionally and manufacturing defects can go unnoticed. If the supplied goods do not meet your expectations, are different to those ordered, or you are not completely satisfied with some or all of the supplied goods, please notify us by email scrapofyourlife@optusnet.com.au within five days of receiving them to organise a refund, credit or exchange.
